Speaking of YouTube, why don'tcha post Plug & Knothole there?
Hey Kyle,
Nice to see you here.
Actually, the fact of the matter is, even though I created, wrote, storyboarded, animated and voiced Plug & Knothole, those characters are the property of Fantasimation, Inc. and posting any part of that cartoon on You Tube would be a copyright violation.
However, something new is in the works and I'll be posting that cartoon sometime soon.
Thanks for stopping by...
Brian
Firstly... I meant to make that remark on a relevant post. Oops! Secondly, DARN! I only got to see the durn thing once. Do they own the characters as well, or just the cartoon?
Actually they own The whole darn thing. P & K was never finished, just a four minute sample was produced. From what I remember, all the edited digital files were lost. I have a VHS copy of that sample, but like I said, can't post it.
Any chance of you posting some samples from the boards you pitched to Random Cartoons? The one with the cat with the wonky eye? I liked that character.
I gotta see if I can dig them up.
Actually, I kinda liked that character, a cat that looked like it got caught under a lawnmower, with a dysfunctional glass eye that keeps popping out at all the wrong times.
I still wonder why they didn't snap up that one.
I think it would have been a hilarious cartoon.
Problem is, how do you keep the audience from vomiting at the sight of the screwed up cat?
