We Get Letters....Yes, I get letters!

Ah yes! People really do read this blog (besides me and some of my family members)!
And people are anxiously, almost patiently waiting for my next well thought out posts.
Unfortunately, I am very busy on numerous projects as of late. Because I am sworn to keep all ideas hush hush for now, I cannot reveal too much at the moment.
However, luckily for you, I have selected several questions and/or comments from my vast fan letter bag to answer right here on Mitchell's Sketchbook! So let's get set and start the fun.
Here's Question number one!

Q - Bri, why don't you post some drawings for once! You've had the blog for over a year now. I'm excited to see what you're working on! Signed Richard G@#$#@ of Florida

A- Dear Richard, Hey man, don't get too excited! Please calm down...take life one day at a time...because good things come to those who wait.
You see, when I posted all the time, people used to read and look at the pretty pictures and never truly savored the art of my delicate written poetry. By posting less frequently, people have truly appreciated my precious written words even more. As one person wrote, "It is my ultimate wish that you post as little as possible." But seriously though, yes I am getting around to posting some drawings on line, but I want to find a way to protect my work first. I am really afraid that somehow my characters will end up being stolen for some new cheap theme park in Asia.

Q - Dear Mr. Mitchell, I am a longtime fan of the show Tiny Toon Adventures and wonder how you were able to voice both Babs and Buster Bunny so well? Signed Dennis An%$#$ of London, England

A - Dear Dennis, I think you have me confused with someone else. I did not provide any voices for Tiny Toon Adventures. However, I did provide voices for that Christmas perennial,
The Balloonatiks Christmas Special. Maybe, that's what you were thinking of!
I do get confused with famous actors all the time. Years ago, people used to call me in Burbank, California looking for Brian Mitchell...or rather Brian Stokes Mitchell. As a promoter of happiness, I thanked the callers for appreciating my impressive body of work.

Q - Hey Mitchell, I'm a big fan of that picture you animated on called "The Troll In Central Park. Do you have any juicy tidbits about the production? Signed Larry Sp%$%# of Hollywood, California

A- Dear Larry, Oh yes! The Troll In Central Park...one of my very favorite movies. It's an under-appreciated masterwork. Just watching how that fat troll touches the ground with his green thumb and makes flowers grow right out of thin air...why it's breathtaking!
And yes, I had a hand in it's creation.
I believe Troll will eventually be hailed as a classic, to take it's place alongside, Gone With The Wind, Casablanca and Singin In The Rain.
Most juicy tidbit?...You know when those pansy flowers start to dance doing the old soft shoe in the middle of the movie? Well, that was actually choreographed with live dancers and rotoscoped. I know, I know it's hard to believe! Not that it was Rotoed, but that it was actually choreographed!
